DESCRIPTION:Boston-based guitarist and composer Aaron Larget-Caplan returns to Astoria for a celebratory concert of his twelfth album 'Guitar America 250   Revolutionaries and Rockstars'. Featuring music from pre-Civil War through the World Wars\, classical composers Irving Berlin and Leonard Bernstein\, and cultural icons Paul Simon and Eddie Van Halen\, as well as spoken word performed by local Astorians from Astoria High School\, reciting poetry by Walt Whitman and Frances Harper. The 1-hour concert takes place at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts\, 588 16th Street in Astoria. Doors open at 3:30pm. CDs\, sheet music\, and stickers will be available.
