The Columbia River Symphony invites music lovers of all ages to their spectacular summer concert, "Destiny: Follow the River to Where the Music Meets the Horizon." This summer's cinematic theme brings a thrilling, high-energy lineup that stretches from ancient mythology to the far reaches of the galaxy. The orchestra will take the audience on an epic musical journey featuring — among many moving pieces — the powerful ancient sounds of Soon Hee Newbold’s "The Iliad," the dramatic clash of Randall Standridge’s "Fracas," and the exotic rhythms of Samuel R. Hazo’s "Arabesque."
