I am thrilled to welcome Remy Wines to Brut. Winemaker Remy Drabkin, born and raised in McMinnville, has been producing northern Italian varietals grown in the Pacific Northwest since 2006. Remy is also the co-founder of Wine Country Pride, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations to rural Oregon.
Remy Wines is based in a charming farmhouse from the 1900s, located on the family’s vineyard in the Dundee Hills. It’s a wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend checking it out. Alternatively, you can stop by Brut next Friday, May 1st, to taste these exceptional wines and meet Remy in person!
Join me from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a wine flight featuring Remy’s Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Lagrein (a northern Italian red varietal grown on her estate). And, as a bonus to celebrate Oregon Wine Month, you can enjoy a glass (or bottle) of Pop, her sparkling Pinot Noir rose.
Remy herself will be present at Brut from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, ready to chat with guests and answer any questions you may have about the wines. Take advantage of this chance to meet the winemaker in person and learn more about her story and the wines she produces. It’s an honor to have Remy AND her wine at Brut!
And, as an amazing follow-up, you can attend a Remy wine dinner at Gaetano’s on Saturday or Sunday, May 2nd or 3rd. Check out Gaetano’s Market and Deli for more information.
