Senior Center Can & Bottle Drive

Community members are encouraged to drop off their Oregon-refundable bottles and cans. Volunteers will be stationed in front of the senior center to accept donations and make drop-off convenient. Proceeds from the center's year-round bottle and can drive are used to pay for the annual holiday banquet in December, allowing all members to attend a special event with a festive hot meal for free. Astoria Senior Center is a nonprofit organization funded through membership dues, investments, donations, and grants. With nearly 700 paid members, the center serves as an important resource for older adults throughout the community.
